Experience

In 2014, the Londa Beach Hotel received awards for Cyprus’ Leading Hotel as well as Cyprus’ Leading Boutique Hotel. With such accolades and a 5 star rating, it’s no wonder the Londa boasts a high number of extremely loyal guests.

Arriving from Paphos, we checked-in late. The reception had our room ready and gave us an introduction and tour.

We stayed in a Sea View Suite, one of 68 uniquely designed rooms. The Italian styling included Cypriot lace and antique filigree silver. When the hotel was re-designed the focus was to make the rooms more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room.

The living space had seating around a coffee table with a welcome bowl of fruit, wine and snacks. A door opened up to the terrace that overlooked the sea. A guest bathroom was connected to the living room with a standalone shower, sink and toilet.

The bedroom was separated by a removable wall for more or less privacy. The interesting design had the wall slide our of the main wall. The TV was set in a turnstile cabinet so it could be adjusted for the bed or couch. Next to the bed was a useful desk.

A large lemon cushion added a fun modern touch to the room’s design.

The modern minimalist bathroom had a sink facing the shower and bathtub combination. The toilet was placed near the countertop.

Included for our convenience and comfort was an espresso machine, Molton Brown toiletries, mini bar, high speed internet, a safe and satellite TV all complimentary with the room.

After settling in, we checked out the hotel property. From the stylish lobby is the main restaurant.

Caprice Restaurant and Bar is a popular choice for Italian cuisine with a Mediterranean twist. It offers sittings for breakfast, lunch, dinner and also offers catering for up to 250 people. There’s no need to wait until after dinner for cocktails and wine. The Caprice Bar opens its doors at 9 a.m., plenty of time to enjoy the view on the terrace.

Walking through the restaurant and bar, we come to the swimming pool set right before the beach. This focal point adds a resort feel to the hotel. Guests can lounge around the pool or go for a dip in the sea from the private beach.

The Spa modifies each treatment to guest specifications. It boasts seven permanent therapists trained to the highest levels to provide the upmost care. Massages are based on the Swedish method combined with Chinese acupuncture point therapy and can be modified to accommodate any chronic aches and pains. The Londa also uses internationally renowned Elemis products as well as its own Organic Londa Signature remedies designed for specific needs.

A gym is also available for guests.

What sets this boutique hotel apart from the others is the focus on positive interactions between its staff and guests. Every Londa team member, some who have worked at the hotel for 20 or 30 years, speaks multiple languages so guests from any country can communicate with ease. This is in part what makes corporations and international organizations prefer the Londa to other hotels for conferences and seminars. Each event is coordinated to accommodate cultural, language, and functional needs of every group. There are several conference and meeting rooms available onsite.

The staff really made us feel at home with their friendly and accommodating service. Though we had an early checkout for a flight, the restaurant staff prepared a takeaway box for breakfast even before the service started!

Around the hotel lies some of the best sights that Cyprus has to offer. The climate provides the perfect climate for vineyards; there are six established tours for wine tasting accompanied by great food and music. There are also nature and beach walks offered for free around Limassol.

All rooms enjoy top service, from a bouquet of flowers to working lunches in the room; everything can be accommodated by the diligent staff.

With character rooms, family-like staff, a relaxing spa and amazing sea views it’s no wonder this is an award winning hotel. The Londa Beach Hotel is a great property for both personal vacations and business trips.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through Limassol!
