Experience

The Renaissance Minsk Hotel offers guests modern sophistication and luxurious rooms. Opened in May of this year, this new hotel is one of the few international brands in Minsk. With its close proximity to local attractions and brand reputation, I looked forward to experiencing the hotel.

Each room of the Renaissance Minsk Hotel is furnished with stylish furniture and luxury bedding. The soft colors of the décor and natural lighting create a relaxing ambiance that extends into the marble finishes of the bathroom. Those who book a Club Level Room or higher also enjoy access to the Club Lounge.

Inside the Club Lounge are complimentary hors d’oeuvres, afternoon tea, desserts, non-alcoholic beverages and business services. The rooms themselves include a work area, wi-fi, in-room safe, complimentary bottled water and mini bar.

The Renaissance Minsk Hotel can accommodate any special event, meeting or group with 10 meeting rooms and the Grand Ballroom which has a 550 person capacity. The hotel’s event planning staff works closely with every client to ensure group bookings run smoothly for business and social events making it an ideal venue. All Meeting Rooms and the Grand Ballroom are located on the wings of the building with lots of natural light, elegant décor and state-of-the-art technology for multimedia presentations.

For those who need a break from business or just a day of relaxation, the Renaissance Minsk Hotel Spa offers a range of features including Russian and Finnish saunas, Jacuzzi and an indoor pool. The Pool offers extensive seating along the floor to ceiling windows so parents can still enjoy the view while watching the kids play in the waterfall water feature. Also attached to the Spa is the Fitness Center which is equipped with both cardiovascular equipment and free weights. A casino is set to open by New Years Eve.

Renaissance Minsk Hotel’s Arborea Restaurant offers an a la carte menu of European and Belarusian cuisine made from seasonal produce. The casual yet elegant décor of the restaurant carries the same tree motif as the restaurant name with green and beige hues, unique floor coverings and wall features. If you’re looking for a lighter snack or just meeting for drinks, the Lobby Bar is a great place for unique cocktails.

Service provided by the international team is friendly and professional. They all spoke English which is unusual for Belarus.

With the Renaissance brand, modern and luxurious facilities and a great central location, I would recommend the Renaissance Minsk Hotel for any visitor whether for tourism or business.
