To start off the new year I’m headed to the south of Africa on a trip that will cover 13 new countries bringing the country count to 119.

I had booked a one way ticket, well in advance, to celebrate a great friends’ wedding in Cape Town! This was also the perfect opportunity to explore the southern countries of Africa.

The rough itinerary for an estimated month or so is the following:

Egypt – Cairo
South Africa – Cape Town, Kruger, Johannesburg
Mozambique – Maputo
Swaziland
Lesotho
Madagascar – Antananarivo, Nosy Be
Comoros
Seychelles
Namibia – Windhoek
Botswana
Zimbabwe
Zambia
Malawi

So far I only have a one way ticket to Cape Town and a couple of other flights booked. There’s a lot more to plan!
