Andalusia Dreaming

Close your eyes. Now imagine Spanish palaces, Roman ruins, medieval castles, stunning landscapes and serene beaches. Is this a dream? Yes, it is. This is Andalusia Dreaming.

These sights and more can all be found in the southern province of Spain. Andalusia has long been on my travel list and now I’m finally going to get a chance to see it for myself.

A week traveling through the region by car should give me a good feel for the land and cities. I plan on circling around the province starting in Seville, then to Cordoba, Granada, Malaga, Marbella, Ronda, peek into the United Kingdom at Gibraltar and continue to Jerez and Cadiz.

Fortunately from Sardinia there are plenty of ways to arrive, so I’m hopping on a flight to Barcelona then to Seville.

I expect a very intense week of sightseeing. Batteries charged. Backpack set. Maps check. Eyes wide. Ready to go!
