Coast of Riches: A Journey Through Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama

Coast of Riches: A Journey Through Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama A 9 day adventure through the remaining three Central American countries, starting in Nicaragua, traveling through Costa Rica and ending in Panama! With this trip I will complete country 47-49!

When contemplating the next trip, there was an underlying urge to finish what I started in the End of the World Tour. I contacted my friend Bill and we went into planning mode.

We wanted to visit exotic locations of the southern part of Central America while seeing the best hotels and resorts on the way. To continue from where we left off, we would arrive in country 47, Nicaragua, travel down through country 48, Costa Rica, and leave from country 49, Panama.

The Rough Itinerary:

Day 1 and 2 Nicaragua: Managua, Leon, San Juan del Sur, Granada, and Ometepe.
Day 3, 4, and 5 Costa Rica: Arenal, San Jose, and Manuel Antonio.
Day 6, 7, and 8 Panama: David, Boquete, Bocas del Toro, Panama City and of course the famous canal!

We booked our flights as follows:

  1. EWR – IAH – MGA
  2. BOC – PAC
  3. PTY – EWR

There are plenty of highlights we hope to see and activities we look forward to experiencing.

Follow our adventure as we travel through the “coast of riches”, finishing the loop and conquering Central America!
