The lobby’s modern décor nicely contrasts the historical architecture of the city and mimics the city’s unique blend of new and old world culture. Like any of the hotels associated with the Hyatt Hotels, the Hyatt Regency Kiev prides itself on its 5-star service for every guest whether you’re traveling for business, pleasure or hosting a special event at the hotel.

Each of the 234 rooms and suites offer guests the highest level of luxury and views of Kiev’s historical landmarks. Rooms range from Standard Rooms to Suites with neutral décor and rich accent colors. Even the Standard Room includes luxury amenities like king or two twin beds, separate work areas, satellite TV, high-speed wireless internet, in-room safes and morning newspapers. Those who choose a Suite enjoy complimentary continental breakfast and cocktails, larger work areas and separate sitting rooms decorated with original artwork from local artists. All bathrooms are clad in marble with heated floors and a large vanity, separate bath and walk-in shower.

The Spa Naturel is perfect for guests looking for an escape from the busy city life. It offers exclusive treatments, ancestral holistic rituals, and aromatherapy. For those looking to get their heart-rate up the hotel also has a fully equipped fitness center. Club Olympus is outfitted with Technogym equipment, Finnish saunas, steam rooms, cold jet showers and a Jacuzzi which can accommodate any fitness or cool-down routine. Personal trainers are also on call for some expert guidance. The indoor heated Pool is also located in Club Olympus and access is complimentary to all guests of the hotel.

Bar on 8overlooks the golden domes of Saint Sofia and Saint Michael and offers a more casual approach to dining and drinks. The menu features dishes which are prepared in the traditional tandoor oven which is essential for the mixture of Balkan, Turkish, Middle Eastern, and Indian cuisine. The modern décor and elegant atmosphere is especially popular in the summer months when wine and cocktails can be comfortably enjoyed on the terrace. Guests need not leave the hotel to experience the active nightlife of Kiev.

Grill Asia is the gastronomic highlight of the hotel where European and Asian cuisine is fused together to elevate the dining experience. The open kitchen gives guests an inside look into the special wok steamers and wood burning grill as they are used to prepare meals.

The hotel also has a shopping arcade and business facilities such as meeting rooms, conference halls, and business centers. The Regency Club provides an exclusive lounge for the Club floor guests.

Service at the hotel is incredible. On arrival, I walked up to the front desk and before I even opened my mouth, the front desk welcomed me by name. The entire staff from the management and front desk team to the servers in restaurants were extremely accommodating and focused on the guest experience.

Hyatt continually sets the bar for luxury hotels around the world and the Hyatt Regency Kiev is one of the most impressive Hyatt properties I’ve stayed in. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Kiev whether for business or tourism.
